As a naked man / woman stranded freezing and hungry on a mysterious island, you must hunt, collect, craft items, plant fruits and build a shelter to survive.Use skill and cunning to kill, incubate, and ride ARK-dinosaurs and primeval creatures, and team with hundreds of players or play locally!
The following features are in the game since the day 1 Early Access release. We have planned many more aspects and refinements for the ongoing development.Here's what you can experience so far in ARK:
TIMES, TRAINERS, BREEDS AND RIDING DINOSAURS IN A LIVING ECOSYSTEM
Dinosaurs, Creatures & Breeding - Over 50+ at the start of Early Access and 100+ scheduled to final release - can be tamed with a challenging catch and attraction process. It involves weakening a wild creature to knock it unconscious and then re-nip it with the right food. Once domesticated, you can give your house dino orders, which he also follows, depending on how well you have trained and tamed it. Haudinos can rise in level and need food. FOOD, WATER, TEMPERATURE AND WEATHER
You have to eat and drink to survive - with different plants and meats with different attributes, including human flesh. A functioning water supply in your home and inventory is necessary. Every physical action costs you food and drink, long-distance travel is full of dangers.The weight of your inventory slows you down, the day / night cycle, along with randomly generated weather conditions, adds another challenge as temperatures change, you can starve faster or thirsty.Build a campfire or dwelling and a wide selection of clothing and armor to protect you against regional hazards and extreme temperature fluctuations with the Dynamic In / Outdoor Isolation Calculation System!
HARVEST, BUILD STRUCTURES, COLORED OBJECTS
While you can cut whole forests and mine metal and other valuable resources, you can also build massive multi-story structures from complex, latching parts.It includes ramps, columns, windows, doors, gates, remote-controlled gates, trapdoors, water pipes, faucets, generators, cables, lots of other electrical appliances, ladders and many, many other things. Buildings have a mechanic of collapsing when the foundation is destroyed. That's why it's important to reinforce your buildings. All buildings and items can be painted to customize the design of your home and color dynamic, per-pixel paintable signs, signage and other decorative objects to your liking.Houses reduce the extreme of the weather and provide protection for you and your stock.
PLANT, REMOVE AND CULTIVATE
Pick seeds from the wild vegetation around you, plant them in beds you place, water them and fertilize them (everything leaves fecal matter after calories have been consumed, which can be composted, some fertilizers are better than others). Watch out for your plantlets and they will grow to produce delicious and rare fruits, which can also be used to cook a wide variety of logical recipes and potions. TRUNK SYSTEM

RPG STATISTICS

HARDCORE MECHANICS
Every item you build has a certain durability and will break if you use it too much and do not repair it. When you leave the game, your character remains asleep in the virtual world. The mysterious ARK is an impressive and imposing environment made up of natural and unnatural structures above or below the ground and underwater as well. As you explore the secrets of the island, you will find many randomly generated creatures and rare blueprints. Also, you can find exploratory notes that are dynamically brought into play, written and beautifully decorated millennia ago by previous ARK residents. Creatively visualize the ARK's creatures and background story. Explore the entire map by exploring, highlighting points of interest, and building a compass or GPS system to explore with other players you speak with, text or long-distance phones can communicate, simplify. You can play alone and locally in single-player mode and transfer your character and items between unofficial, hosted servers back and forth from single to multiplayer.
