In Resident Evil 4 , special agent Leon S. Kennedy is sent on a delicate mission to free the kidnapped daughter of the US president. When he arrives in a remote European village, he has to confront new threats that have little in common with the traditionally heavy-handed zombie opponents of the first parts. Leon has to fight never-known horrific creatures that have been attacked by Las Plagas parasites, and faces aggressive types of enemies, including alien villagers who have plotted Los Illuminados - the mysterious sect behind the kidnapping.
