F1 2017 gives the player a glimpse into the exciting world of Formula 1 on an unprecedented scale, both on the track and in contract negotiations and vehicle development. The acclaimed Career Mode has been enhanced with additional exercise programs to help improve your driving skills, as well as increased R & D capabilities, allowing deeper control over the development of the car and better management of engines and transmissions over the course of the season.
In combination with breathtaking new locations and interesting characters, these innovations create the most comprehensive gaming experience in Formula One so far.
STRONGER ADVANCED CAREERS
Advanced Career Mode allows players to write racing history as they improve their driving skills and develop their car over several seasons. Thanks to new features, you're more involved than ever in improving your car, using your resources skillfully to improve performance without affecting the car's reliability - otherwise you'll never get a good grid position.
Take care of all six key elements of a modern F1 engine and work hard to increase team capabilities such as pit stop duration, the speed of research and development and the reliability of new parts.
It's also important to master new training programs and get resource points through good fuel management and race pace. Important contract negotiations are made even more realistic by fantastic new venues. At the heart of the new career mode are the historic racing cars that you can drive at the new invitation events.
Other Career Mode enhancements include the ability to race with a rider for the first time, new community helmet designs, the option to change the car number and helmet design during the season, and the much-desired option of assigning # 1 to your car when you won the drivers championship.
NEW HISTORIC F1 RACING CAR
The game includes twelve legendary Formula 1 cars from the past of five teams: Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull Racing, Renault and Williams. These can all be driven in several different game modes.The historic race cars are also integrated in the career mode and can be driven in both single and multi-player races.
There are also new invitation events covering a variety of exciting game modes, including: Overtaking, Tracking, Checkpoint Challenge and Time Attack.
ADVANCED MULTIPLAYER MODE
Players can race online with up to 20 riders, either in private or public play sessions with two guaranteed positions for spectators. All multiplayer sessions offer the option of either driving the 2017 season race cars or historic models, and benefit from improved player search, new online statistics, and a tiered system. The event mode has also been extended to all three platforms and now offers a new points system.
NEW CHAMPIONSHIP MODE AND NEW GAMES
The new Championship Mode allows players to experience unique racing events that deviate from the official championship in certain rules and procedures. This ensures even more variety, without having to forego a championship structure.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE GUIDANCE
For the first time in the series, there are alternative route variants in addition to the 20 official routes: Great Britain (short), Japan (short), USA (short) and Bahrain (short). You can also experience breathtaking Monaco at night.
